Obituary for Dennis Trepagnier Jr.

Dennis Joseph “Veno” Trepagnier Jr was born on October 4, 1952 in New Orleans, La. He was the third child, born to the union of the late Dennis and Aline Trepagnier Sr. Veno was a lifelong resident of St. James. He was educated in the St. James School system. Veno was a licensed truck driver for over twenty-five years. He was a hard worker and could adapt to any circumstances. Veno loved life and having a good time. He would celebrate his life by dancing, singing, and having a good drink. His favorite pastime was playing the bass guitar in the Dulac Band. He had a very out going
spirit. He was a happy person and showed his happiness through laughter and love of family. Veno was preceded in death by his parents Dennis, Sr and Aline Trepagnier; sisters, Margaret and Yvette Trepagnier; niece, Faye Trepagnier; and nephew and godchild Kennie Harrison. Veno is survived by his siblings Carmen (Ronnie) Verrett of Houston, TX, Denise (Calvin) Narcisse, Melette, Rita and Michel Trepagnier of St. James, LA, and Ellya (Cliff) Trepagnier of Donaldsonville, LA, He will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday February 24,2018 at 11:00am from St. James Catholic Church 6613 La. 18, St. James, La. Father Matthew McCaughey celebrant. Visitation at the church after 9:00am. Recitation of the rosary at 10:00. Private burial at a later date. Final care entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services 315 E. Airline Hwy. Gramercy, La. 70052.
