Altist "Tot-Tu/Batman" Gordon Obituary (1945 - 2020)

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2Timothy 4:6-7 Altist Gordon, affectionately known by many as Tot-Tu or Batman, departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at his residence the age of 74. He was born on December 10, 1945 to the union of the late Peter and Mary Lewis Gordon. He was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Wallace, LA. He accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior, and was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Joseph Johnson at Morning Star Baptist Church in Wallace, LA. Altist enjoyed djing, watching football, listening to music, and cracking jokes. He was a loving devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. Altist leaves to cherish his memories his siblings Doretha (Charles) Harris, Rose, Audrey, Sylvanina, Robert and Richmond Gordon, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clarence Gordon. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Treasures of Life Funeral Services 315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052. Visitation will be from 9am - 10am.
