Anedra S. (Ned) Williams

Anedra Shintell Hansley Williams of Gramercy, LA passed away on October 16, 2025, in Lutcher, LA. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Leonard and Linda Mitchell Hansley. She graduated from Lutcher High School and attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette.

Anedra was the joy of the family, outgoing and caring for all that she came in contact. As the oldest of all the grandchildren, she was the leader of the pack with her siblings and cousins. She was baptized at King David Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Herbert Gordon at the age of 8 years old. She later joined Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Ronald Frank.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Vergel Williams; three sons, Denzel Hansley (Jenilyn), DeMarkis Hansley (Kaitlyn Kramer), and Devin Hansley; a bonus daughter Anitra Williams; three grandchildren, Denzel Jr., Malaya, and Rylee Hansley; parents, Leonard and Linda Hansley; siblings, Nyka and Gerren Hansley (Barbara Adams); two devoted friends, Carisa Russell and Shelicia Vinett; two nieces and three nephews, along with a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Anedra was preceded in death by her Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ, 129 Apple Street, Laplace, LA 70068. Bishop Ronald Frank, officiating. Visitation from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Golden Wreath Cemetery in Lutcher, LA. A repast will be held at First Community Antioch Baptist Church Family Life Center in Lutcher, LA. Final care and professional services entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
