Anthony Joseph "Domino" Samuel Obituary (1943 - 2022)

Anthony Joseph Samuel departed this life peacefully on Saturday, January 15,2022, at the age of 78. He was a native of Edgard, LA. He was a devout Catholic at St John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was the beloved husband to the late Linda Jasmine Samuel; son of the late Steve Samuel and Artemese Foucher (Wilbert) Jacob; father of Charles (Kimberly D.) Samuel and Racquel (Keith) Bruce; loving grandfather of Kimmeka Stoner, Kierra and Charles Samuel II and Erris Bruce; great-grandfather of Nassir Johnson; and brother of Betty Samuel and the late Brenda Hebert and Stafford (Zeke) Jacob. Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his 2 children, 5 grandchildren,1 great-grandchild,1 sister; 3 sisters-in-law, Shirley Thomas, Myrtle Walker, and Madeline Jasmine (Eric) Bourgeois; 6 brothers-in-law, Alton, Thomas (Shirley), Nathaniel (Lichelle) Jasmine, Russell Jack Sr. and Frazier Tompkins; a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and 1 Godchild, Donna Lynn Pierre. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings, sisters-in-law Enola (Johnny) Allen, Orelia (John) Wright, Janice (Alex) Lumar, Cynthia Tompkins, Laverne Jack ,Celestine and Judy Jasmine, Marion Feist, Joslyn (Anthony) Gastreal; brothers-in-law Claudell Herbert and Antoine Jasmine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial on Friday, January 28, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 LA-18 Edgard, LA 70049. Visitation 8-10 am. Service begins at 10am. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery.
