Autumn J Butler Obituary (1997 - 2021)

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25 (NLT) Autumn was the daughter of Joseph Butler Jr. and Charlotte A. Butler. Autumn accepted Christ at the tender age of 6 and was baptized by Pastor Emil D. Mitchell Sr. at the New Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church in Gramercy, La where she served as a faithful member. Autumn was a very energetic young lady who enjoyed making music, writing poetry, cooking, doing hair, and making those around her laugh no matter the situation. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her significant other D'Andre Barry. Autumn was a graduate of Lutcher High School class of 2016. Autumn was a member of Truth Entertainment where she wrote and created music. She was a phlebotomist at CSL Plasma. Autumn is survived by her loving and devoted significant other, D'Andre Barry, parents, Joseph Butler Jr. and Charlotte A. Butler, grandmother, Mary Turner Bujol, Siblings; Allentrice Nelson and Devon Robert Nelson Sr., aunts; JaVon O. Butler and Trenell Bujol; Uncle Jamal Butler Sr(Danica); nieces; Amaiya Fobb and Amare' Lumar, nephews; Amaurion Mills and Devon Robert Nelson Jr. Devoted friends/sisters Chantal Mitchell, Mar Alexis; Stand in aunts Regina Woodland Johnson and Rose Scott, godparents; Emil D. Mitchell Jr, Felton Wallace Sr., Michael Albert, and Schowanda Michael and a host of great-aunts/uncles, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Jarrian D. Nelson, grandparents; Rev. Alfred Bujol, Joy Ann Woodland Butler, and Joseph Butler Sr. A celebration of life in Autumn's honor will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at New Zion Christian Center, 216 W. Main St., Gramercy, LA 70052, Rev. Emil Dean Mitchell officiating. Visitation period is from 9-11am. Final viewing prior to service. Interment to follow at St. Michael Catholic Church Cemetery.
