Sarah Barbara Jean Parker, an assistant teacher and resident of Baton Rouge, LA and Raleigh, NC, died on September 18, 2022 at the age of 82.\n\nBarbara was born on January 21, 1940 to John Henry and Alvina Parker. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a devout christian of First Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.\n\nBarbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Alfred L. Wilson, and siblings: Leona Taylor, John Parker, Marion Marks, George Parker, Alfred Parker, Charles Parker, Olivia Cage, and Mary Williams. \n\nBarbara is survived by her three children: Malcolm Duncan (Billie), and their two children - Noah and Codi; Wendall Fontenot and his six children - Falon Fontenot, Lewis Fontenot (Kelli), Brittni Fontenot, Angelo Fontenot, Whitney Alston (Dondrall), and Princess Billups; and Paula Arline (Kenneth, Sr.) and their son Kenneth Arline, Jr., and 16 great-grandchildren.\n\nA memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E.
