Benjamin "NUTTY" Stewart Jr., a native of Vacherie, Louisiana peacefully departed his earthly life on October 13, 2022, to be with the Lord. Benjamin was born on April 20, 1961, to the late Benjamin Sr. and Doris Butler Stewart.

He is survived by his loving and devoted companion of 39 years Marvlyn Moody: his children that he loved dearly Janell (RaShaun Sr.) of Vacherie, LA and Jerrell (Sandreka) of Chackbay, LA. Three grandchildren Jaidyn, RaShaun Jr., and Jai'liea. Siblings; Glenn(Erika) Stewart of Prairieville, LA; Michelle(Mark) Coleman and Nadia Octave of Wallace, LA; Nikea(Shane) Washington of Lutcher, LA; Kareem(Tia) Butler and Kavis Octave of Ponchatoula, LA; Tamara Octave of Lucy, LA; Tonta Sr.(Latasha) Octave of Darrow, LA; Nashiya(Ronald) Young, Arlene(Herman) Williby, Anya Trench, Troy Stewart, Gregory Stewart and Demetria Stewart of Vacherie, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. He is also survived by his Godfather Enoch(Darrell) Stewart and a Goddaughter Mercedes Pablo.

Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Sr. and Doris Butler Stewart, maternal grandparents Freddie Sr. and Beulah Butler, paternal grandparents Morris Sr. and Celestine Stewart, godmother Claudia "Jean" Stewart, nephew Kendall Williams Jr. and father-in-law Godfrey Moody Sr.

Visitation will be held from 9AM-11AM Saturday, October 22, 2022. Religious Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church 1244 Magnolia Heights Street, Vacherie, LA 70090 . Rev. Johnnie B. Magee Jr officiating. Interment at First Baptist Church Cemetery 1244 Magnolia Heights Street, Vacherie, LA 70090. Final care and professional services entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
