Bryan "Sammy" Johnson was born on March 3,1961, to the late Wimbley Johnson and Genetter "Black Gal" Johnson. He departed this earthly life for glory on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 65.

Bryan "Sammy" Johnson was educated in the St. John the Baptist Parish School
System. He was a people person who spoke with everyone he encountered.
Sammy never met a stranger. His warm personality and genuine spirit allowed him to
connect with people wherever he went.

He leaves behind a story of endurance, a tender heart, and the deep imprint of his
humanity on those who took the time to truly see him. His kindness, conversations,

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Roosevelt (Debra), David (the late Brenda), Eroy (Warrene), Lori, Rudolph,Josephine (the late Patrick), Brandon (Marquita), and Louis (Renida) Johnson.He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, friends, and members of his neighboring community.May he rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord.

He was Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wimbley Johnson and
Genette Johnson, and his brother, Mark (Dottie) Johnson.

A Memorial celebration honoring his Legacy, life, and love will be held on Friday October 2,2026 at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Highway, Gramercy, LA 70052. Visitation with family (NO VIEWING) begins for 10:00 AM. Private burial to follow.
