Cody Lee Kinler, a resident of Paulina, Louisiana passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the age of 40. \n\nHe is survived by his only son Parker Kinler; mother, Samantha M. Kinler' stepfathers William Paylor, Jr. and Terry J. Abreo; father Bryan Schexnayder, Sr. and stepmother Francine Schexnayder; siblings, Kandi, Jesse, Emilie, Amelia, Bryan Jr., Sophie, Julia, Caroline, Addison, Andrew, and Lillie; grandparents, Verlin and Chris Montz, Sr., Henry Jr. and Lorreta Kinler, Anita and Johnny Abreo, Judy Parrino and Sharleen Decoteau, and a host of aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews. \n\nCody was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholaus Paylor; Godfather, Steve Kinler; aunt, Tabatha Kinler; cousin, Katie Kinler; great-grandparents, Mildred and Freddie Roussel, Sr., Margie Redding, and Henry Kinler, Sr.; grandfather, Carol Schexnayder, Sr.; grea-grandparents, Yoland and Beatrice Schexnayder, and uncles, Ricky and Wade Schexnayder.\n\nCody enjoyed baseball, collectibles, working on model cars, BMX bike racing, field construction, riding tractors, front end loaders, reading his bible, and spending quality time with his son parker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. \n\nA public visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St., Paulina, LA 70763 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm. Graveside service and entombment following the mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Vincent Dufresne, celebrant.
