Sister Cynthia Francois was born on November 10, 1958, to the late Richard Dent and Olivia Preston. She was the wife of Charles Francois Sr, the mother of Nicole Raymond, Lakeisha Bolden, and Domeika Louper. She was the sister of Cathy Dent, Richard Preston Sr. (Tamesia), Brenda Preston, Marie Preston, the late Vanessa, and Tyrone Preston.\n\nShe worked at Ormond Nursing Home as a CNA for 33 devoted years. She was called Cyntee, Sweet Black, and her favorite MeMaw. She loved cooking, shopping, talking on the phone, planting flowers, and Facebook. \n\nAs time passed her health began to fail and on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 3:00 pm God sent his angels of mercy and released her from all her pain and suffering. \n\nCynthia leaves to cherish her loving husband Charles Francois Sr, her 3 daughters Nicole Raymond, Lakeisha Bolden, Domeika Louper, her 4 siblings Cathy Dent, Richard Sr.(Tamesia), Brenda, Marie Preston, her beloved great-grandson Devon "DJ" Jackson Jr. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren LaDeja (Devon Sr.) Jackson, Akilah and Joshua Jr. Louper, Najyri, Derqwion, Shyana Raymond, Kadeem and Jeremiah Bolden, and Ay'lani Leahy. Great Grandchildren Devon "DJ" Jr. and Devyn Jackson. 9 Stepchildren, Nicole, Charles, Delta, Edith, Charles Jr. (Niesha), Anitra, Berthord, Chantasha (Airion), and Kimberly (Carlos). 38 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. 3 Brother in-laws ; George(Annie), Reginald (Linda) Francois, Steven Bailey, 5 Sister-in-laws; Moyna (Larry) Numa, Francester, Debbie, Denise, Gaynell Francois. 2 God children Kendrick Ross and Makaijah Bradley, and a host of relatives and friends. \n\nCynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Olivia Preston and Richard Dent, 2 sisters, Vanessa Preston and Karen Dent, 4 brothers, Kenneth and Tyrone Preston, Larry and Ernest Dent, In Laws, Dorothy and George Francois Sr., Bobby, Herman Sr., Roland Sr., Nathaniel Francois, and Leona Bailey.\n\nGone from our presence but never from our hearts.\n\nA celebration of life honoring Cynthia "Cyntee" Francois will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Canaan Baptist Church, 319 Killona Drive, Killona, LA 70057. Visitation begins at 9 AM and the service will begin at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Killona Resthaven Cemetery.
