Darwin Jude Octave Obituary (1959 - 2021)

Darwin Jude "White Boy" Octave received his wings on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 61. He was the son of Claudette Cayette Octave and the late Ronald V. Octave, Sr. Darwin was a member of Vacherie Social & Pleasure Club. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, D'Andrea (Anthony) Carter; lifelong companion Charlene Denise Williams; siblings, Thaddeus, Shane, Shelley and Seimon Octave and Cornelius Roussell; devoted caregiver, Duane Guaff; aunts, Lorraine Mitchell and Dianne Cayette; devoted cousins, Jermaine Smith, Raleigh Weber, Jr., Dwight Roussell, Rhys Harrison and Valecia Colton; devoted friend, Kenneth Travis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Octave, Sr., his brother, Ronald Octave, Jr., his grandparents, Frank and Beatrice Octave, Ernest Cayette, and Hattie Chiquet, aunts Annabelle Nicholas, Stazie Weber, Mildred Zeno, Idelma Roussell, Sedious Octave, and Ella Mae Harrison; uncles Ernest Cayette Jr. and James Mitchell. Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and Parishioners of St. Philip Catholic Church, all neighboring churches, employees of Marine Shipyard, and St James High Class of '77 are invited to attend a public walk-through visitation on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052.
