Daryl Gerard "Potato" Adams, a resident of Edgard, LA and native of Wallace, LA peacefully entered eternal rest on October 14, 2021, at his daughter's home in Laplace, LA at the age of 75. Daryl is survived by his wife Carol Miller Adams; children, Kischa Ann Adams and Kashanta "Lucy" (Trey) Adams-Warren; 7 grandchildren, Mijah Adams, Brionne (Justin) Adams Vinning, A'Myrai Adams, Kalen Burse, Jalen Burse, Kayleigh Adams, and Kynley Warren; 1 great-granddaughter, Harper Vinning; siblings, Milton (Dian) Adams; sister-in-law, Rose Donald; brother-in-law, Raymond Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Adams and Cecile Walker Adams; father and mother-in-law, Oscar Miller, and Bertha Burke Miller; brother, Tharis (Blackie) Adams; brothers-in-law Joseph Savoie, Sterling Miller, and Timothy Donald; and sisters-in-law, Irene Bailey, Vivian Miller, Elanda Adams, Vivian Allen, Audrey Miller Hall and Lorita Savoie. \n\nWe would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus, AMG specialty hospital, Thibodaux General Hospital and Passages Hospice for the exceptional care they provided. \n\nA public walk-through visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, temporarily located at 22131 Hwy. 20 Vacherie, LA 70090 from 6pm-8pm.\n\nAll neighboring communities and churches, St. John the Baptist Parish School Board employees, and employees of Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus, AMG Specialty Hospital and Thibodaux General Hospital are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2361 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049 on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10am.
