John14:1-3\n\nOn Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 1:30pm, God dispatched an angel to the bedside of Deborah J. Graham to escort her to her heavenly home.\n\nDeborah was born on September 25, 1946 to Lebora Johnson. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior at a very young age. She was baptized by the late Rev. James Trench, Sr. at Highway Baptist Church. Her favorite hymn was "When I See Jesus." She later joined Regular Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member until her health failed.\n\nDeborah worked for the city of New Orleans Department of Public Works as a dispatch supervisor for 27 years.\n\nShe was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Randell Franklin, Jr., Cory C. Franklin, and KraSondra Franklin. She was also the proud grandmother of Randell J. Franklin, Jayden Franklin, Shawn Hall, Jr., Nathaniel Franklin, and Theodore Franklin, and 3 great-grandchildren.\n\nDeborah enjoyed traveling the world and was in a traveling club. You could always catch her on the phone with her best friend Finnie planning their next trip. She loved to cook, especially when watching her New Orleans Saints or court TV.\n\nLeft to cherish her precious memories are her children, Corey C. (Sara) and KraSondra Franklin; grandchildren, Randell J., Jayden, Nathaniel, and Theodore Franklin, and Shawn Hall, Jr.; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Williams (Felicia); sister-in-law, Eileen Jasmin; Godchildren, Elder Cynthia Bazile-Joshua, Shannon V. Jackson, and Kaeltice Bank; devoted niece, Robin Garnett; devoted nephew and caregiver, Charles Bazile, Jr.; best friend, Lavonzell Finnie, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n\nDeborah was preceded in death by her son, Randell Franklin, Jr.; mother, Lebora Johnson-Malancon; siblings, Geraldine Johnson-Bazile, Gerald Johnson, Sr., Marvin Jasmin, Vivian Jones-Harris, Albert Jones, Sr., and Alta Mae Jones-Jackson; and 2 nephews, Patrick Allen Bazile and Rashad Williams.\n\nA celebration of life honoring Deborah J. Graham will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Regular Baptist Church, 901 5th St., Gretna, LA 70053 at 10am. Visitation 9am-10am. Interment to follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Vacherie, LA.
