Debra Joseph

Debra "DeDucky" Joseph, beloved mother, age 62, passed away on July 20, 2019. Debra was born on December 12, 1956 in Vacherie, LA and lived there her entire life. She is survived by her children, Lucretia Dumas(Herbert), Chanice Joseph, Alonzo Joseph, Jr., De'Asia Joseph; siblings, Valerie Allen(Quincy), Lionel Luke(Paulette), Marlene Aubert, Joseph Luke, Jr., Joseph Luke III, Tyrus Luke, Nina Joseph(Avery), and Dedrick Johnson; one grandchild, Jalen Dumas; two great-grandchildren Meilani and Jaelah; friend Earl Batiste. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willa Mae and Joseph Luke, Sr.; grandparents, Irma and Ivory Moses, Rosa and Fred Luke; brother-in-law Leslie Aubert, Sr.

Debra worked for AM/PM Services for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, evenings on the porch, cooking her famous red beans, caring for her great-grandkids, great nieces and nephews and Facebook.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Vacherie, 1244 Magnolia Heights St, Vacherie, LA. Pastor Dr. Johnnie B. Magee, Jr., officiant. Visitation 9:00am followed by service at 11:00am. Interment First Baptist Church Cemetery, Church St., Vacherie, LA. Treasures of Life Funeral Services have been entrusted with her final care.
