Denise M. Jones Rev. Denise Marie Jones of New Orleans, La. on August 28, 2016 was called home to be with the Lord. The daughter of the late Alvin and Priscilla Jones. Rev Jones leaves to mourn 3 brothers Alvin Jones, Frederick Jones Sr. (Rev. Hilda), and Dennis Jones. 1 aunt: Shirley Ross. 5 nieces: Shelita Morgan (Jarrod), Melanie Turner (Brian), Latoria Jones, Ta Najee Johnson (Donald), and Nia Jones. 3 nephews: Frederick Ross (Tanya), Sean Gaylor and Jerome Gaylor. 1 god-child, Nia Jones. A host of great - great nieces, and great-great nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by one brother Jerome Jones, one sister Jeanette Jones Gaylor and one nephew Kevin McKinsey. A home going celebration will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 for 10:00 am at Christian Unity Center 1700 Conti St. New Orleans, La. Officiating Pastor Dwight Webster. Interment Woodville Cemetery Wallace, La. Visitation begins for 8 am. Treasures of Life Center for Life Funeral Services has been entrusted with her final care.
