Deyon Lavern Smith Benjamin, a loving wife, daughter, mother, , sister and aunt age 63 grandmother years. A native of Edgard, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at West Jefferson Hospital. Daughter of Mildred Smith. Beloved wife of Ray Benjamin, mother of Damond Smith and Rayon Smith (Emmett Jr.) Step mother of Roslyn Benjamin. Grandmother of Emmett III. Sister of Debra Howard (Bernard), Byron Smith Sr. (Valerie), Bonnie Grows (Kevin). Survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
