Mr. Ed Joseph Williams also known as "Eyes", was born April 14, 1956 in New Orleans, LA to Benjamin Williams and Florence Lumar Williams. \n\nOn December 15, 2020 at 4:20 pm Ed Joseph Williams entered the realm of eternity in Merriam, Kansas surrounded by loving family at the age of 64.\n\nEd grew up in Dutch Bayou and graduated from Leon Godchaux High in 1977. While there he played football and baseball. He received a football scholarship to continue his education. Ed was very outgoing! He loved sports and had a passion for playing baseball. He enjoyed attending football games, fishing, and listening to music. He would say, "I bet nobody could catch mo Choupique than me." His favorite song to listen to was "Happy Feelings" by Maze ft Frankie Beverly. \nFuneral Services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052, for 2:00pm. There will be a public walk-through viewing beginning at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery.
