Edna Catherine Lumar entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 2, 2020, at the age of 90 due to COVID-19. Beloved and loving daughter of the late Amelia and Whitney Lumar. Edna was an amazing mother, grandmother, relative, and friend. \n\nEdna worked in the restaurant business as a cook for years. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Baptist Parish Catholic Church and the Bonsecour Benevolent Society. She adored her son and grandchildren; she truly spoiled them. Her passions were her family, sewing, crocheting, and baking. She was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and ticket holder.
