Ellen Marie Williams entered eternal rest on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born on May 30, 1956 to the late Leo Price, Sr. and Florence Robinson Price. Ellen was a family coordinator, who took family very seriously. After giving out good advice to someone, she would always say "Don't take no wooden nickels." \n\nEllen was baptized at an early age. She was educated in the Orleans Parish school system.\n\nIn addition to her parents, Ellen Marie was preceded in death by her siblings, Thaddeus Price, Horace Price, Leo Price, Jr., Betty Owens and Crystal Vanburen; son-in-law, Johnathan Funches; and nephew, Kirk Vanburen.\n\nEllen Marie will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her. Left to cherish her precious memories are her two sons, Lionel Williams, Jr. and Gregory Briscoe, Jr.; two daughters, Linell Funches and Lindrell Williams (Rene Hazeur); fourteen grandchildren; two brothers, Steven Price (Deloris) and Ellis Price (Antoinette); two Godchildren, Ellis Price, Jr. and Jessie Stills, Jr.; long time companion, Gregory Briscoe, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.\n\nThe family of Ellen Marie Williams would like to extend an invite attend a celebration of her life on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Greater Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, 4253 Dale Street, New Orleans, LA 70126.
