Ethel Mary Knight Obituary (1917 - 2015)

Knight, 'Sweetness', passed away at the age of 98 on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Baton Rouge General Hospital on Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge. She was a native and resident of St. James and a former resident of New Orleans. Ethel is survived by her four children, Lois, Larry Sr. (Gertrude), Aubrey Knight, Yvonne (Earl)Smith. Brother Horace Celestin; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Celestin, 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Willie and Elnora Celestin; husband, Dan Knight; one daughter, Bernice K. Washington; three brothers, Louis, Willie, Jr. (Dollin), and Lionel. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. James Catholic Church are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00am.
