Fabiola Ann Batiste Johnson was born on September 2, 1939, to the late Hamilton Batiste and Coritha Soloman Batiste. She was also reared by her devoted aunt and uncle, Mary, and Elliot Boudoin. She was a graduate of Second Ward High School's class of 1960. She praised God until she peacefully entered eternal life surrounded by her loving family.\n\nFabiola, a native of Edgard, LA entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the graceful age of 82 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Lucien Johnson. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and shared a unique bond with each one of them. She was wealthy with love and without reservation she shared it with everyone. \n\nShe leaves to cherish her memories her children, Daphne Johnson of Edgard, LA., Tessa LaGrande (Darryl) of Reserve, LA., Greg Johnson (Monica) of Laplace, LA., Ricky Jack (Germaine) of Houston, TX., Greginald Jack of Laplace, LA., and Yvette LaGrange (Miguel) of Edgard, LA.; daughters-in-law, Timolin Johnson (the late Hugh Johnson) and Alicia Jack (the late Loumonth Jack Sr.); brothers, Victor Batiste, Molten Batiste, and Michael Batiste, all from Edgard, LA. ; sisters-in-law, Shirley Coburn, Gladys Armand , and Alice Borne ; brother-in-law, Ervin Jack Jr. ; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 3 Godchildren, Clarence Gordon, Beverly Louis, and Rosalie Everett: and two devoted friends, Ilah Kindrick and Bobbie Burns. \n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Hamilton and Coritha Batiste, her devoted aunt and uncle Mary and Elliot Boudoin, her sister Leola Batiste Jack, her two sons, Hugh Johnson and Loumonth Jack Sr., her nephews Anthony Batiste and Shawn Blazio, and her great-granddaughter Ma'hlei Elaine LaGrande. \n\nA public walk-through visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Treasures of Life's temporary location, 22131 Hwy. 20, Vacherie, LA 70090 (Steven Keller Properties/The Diamond Center) from 5pm-7pm.\n\nA Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049. Visitation 8am-10am. Service beginning at 10am. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery.
