Gail Marie Favorite (Gordon-Favorite) Obituary (1955 - 2020)

Gail Marie Gordon Favorite departed this earthly life on October27, 2020 at Chateau St. James Rehab & Retirement Center in Lutcher, LA at the age of 65. She was born on March 12, 1955 to the late Claude Sr. and Louisa Gordon. She was a native of Edgard, Louisiana and a resident of Hahnville, LA, where she resided with her devoted friend Albert Daniel until she became ill. Gail leaves to cherish her precious memories her son Brad (Kennedra Burke) Favorite, step daughters Dajah (Darwin) Bovie Jr. and Miesha Daniel; grandchildren Joseph III, Kylum, Kameron, Alaney, Aziya, and Isabella Favorite, Dallis, Dakota, Dior and Denim Bovie; great grandchildren Nyara and Nyellie, Joseph Jr., Kai and Ka'Miya Favorite; sisters Felicia (Michael) Williams, Jacqueline Harry, Robin (Brent) Wilson, Betty Nicholson, Melissa (Doriel) Washington and Jacqueline Campbell; brothers Larry (Debra) Gordon, Clarence Gordon and Ferdinand ( Mary) Gordon; sisters-in-law Reggie Gordon, Willomese Gordon, Lina Dangerfield, Karen Favorite and Mary Williams; aunt-by-law Noma Pierre; former husband Joseph Favorite Sr.; brothers-in-law Kanty (Janet) Favorite, Kevin (Caroline) Favorite and Dwayne (Tina) Favorite; uncle-by-law Stanley Pierre; Godchildren Torrian Thomas, Javal Bradley and Raneldo Nicholson, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gail was proceeded in death by her parents Claude Sr. and Louisa Gordon and brothers Claude Jr. and Norman Gordon. There will be a public walk-through visitation on Thursday November 5, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 East Airline Highway Gramercy, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, parishioners of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Knights of Peter Claver, Ladies Auxiliary Court #66, employees of Bayer Global, Chateau St. James Rehab & Retirement Center and Class of 1973 are invited to attend a mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 Highway 18 Edgard, LA 70049 on Friday November 6, 2020 at 10:00 am. Rosary will begin at 9:30 am. Father Robustiano Morgia, Celebrant. Interment at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery Final Care entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 East Airline Highway, Gramercy, LA 70052.
