Gloria May Milligan Treaudo was born September 6, 1964, to the union of Tommy and Helen Milligan, Sr., in Norwood, LA. After becoming a resident of New Orleans, LA, Gloria accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Rev. Cleveland Turner of James Chapel Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. Graduating from Warren Easton High School and Audubon Community College, Gloria took full advantage of her education and remained employed for twenty-five years with the City of New Orleans Police Department in its' Property Management and National Crime Information Center Divisions.\n\nGloria May Milligan was united in holy matrimony to Benjamin Jerome Treaudo, Sr., on November 1, 1986.\n\nGloria continues to inspire those whom she leaves to cherish her memory, devoted husband of 35 years, Benjamin Jerome Treaudo, Sr.; son, Benjamin J. Treaudo, Jr. (Jade); daughter, Breionna Treaudo; grandchildren: Benin Treaudo and Mason Jackson; brother, Tommy Milligan, Jr.; sisters: Mary Ann Milsap, Amy Wilson and Linda Butler (Doug); aunt, Octavia Turner; uncle, Henry Turner; sister-in-law, Sikita Pennington; Goddaughter, Danielle Butler, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, classmates, coworkers and friends.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents: Joe and Rosezelia Turner, paternal grandparents: Earl and Nettie Milligan, Sr., brother: Ricky Turner, aunts: Gloria Patterson and Hazel Scott, and uncles: Willie Milligan, Sylvester Milligan, Earl Milligan, Purvis Milligan, Granerson Turner, Jim Turner and Joe Monroe Turner.\n\nA celebration of life honoring Gloria May Treaudo will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at New Macedonia Baptist Church, 8308 Sheldon St., Metairie, LA 70003.
