Grant Martin Young was born on June 15, 1968 to Lorraine Young and the late Ferdinand Young Sr. He departed this life on May 31, 2016 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Harahan at 12:30 P.M Grant was the loving husband of Rene' Young , father of Adrien Young, Devon Jackson and three step sons, Ramon Jackson, Christopher Markey, and Gary Markey. Brother of Anna (Gilbert) Smith, Patricia (Alvin) Joseph, Joyce Pierce, Sharon Young, Lonnie (Carolyn) Young, Ronald (Connie) Young. He is also preceded in death by Ferdinand Young, Jr., Marie Bradford and Rose Johnson all of Edgard La. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 04, 2016 for 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 LA 18 Edgard, La. Father Rob Morgia celebrant. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9:00 A.M. Treasure of Life Center for Life Funeral Services are entrusted with the arrangements of his final care.
