HANNAH MAE ""Mama"" BOWSER (BUTLER) Obituary (1920 - 2016)

Hanna Mae Butler-Bowser affectionately called "Mama" and "Ms. Hanna, was a native and resident of Gramercy, LA. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Hanna was an extremely loving and giving person who everyone loved and respected as well. She had a beautiful personality that reached out to anyone she came in contact with. Memories of her love will stay in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Hanna leaves to cherish her memories one niece, Leola M. Ellis of New Orleans, LA; her great aunt, Lillie M. Butler of New Orleans, LA; her cousin, Barbara L. Stewart (Nathaniel) of Lutcher, LA; four godchildren, Sherrill Wheeler of Gramercy, LA, Alfred, Chico and Charlene Ellis of Texas; her former employer and friend, Ann Babbington of New Orleans, LA; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Olivia Butler; husband, Joseph Bowser; and one sister, Rosalee Joseph. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 for 10:00am at Treasures of Life-Center for Life Funeral Services, who have been entrusted with her final care. 315 E.
