Irvin “Big Tob” Isaac, Sr.

On Sunday, September 15th, 2024, Irving Isaac Sr. departed this life; he put on his white robe and his golden slippers and went home to his father at 10:30 a.m. at the Audubon Health & Rehab in Thibodaux, LA. He was 78 years old.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Dorothy Mae Smith-Isaac, his son Irvin (Christine) Isaac Jr., his daughter Chiffon (Rindell) Isaac, granddaughter Kendra Smith, two grandsons D'Von Isaac and Kailan Johnson, two sisters Carolyn Isaac and Vana Isaac, two brothers Walter (Maryl) Isaac & Wilmer Isaac Jr., two godchildren Wayne Edward & Roman Broden, three sisters-in-law Janette Smith, Evelina Smith, & Ethel Claudia Riley, two brothers-in-law Lawrence Smith & Joseph Smith Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer Isaac Sr. and Penilla Dennis-Isaac; two sisters, Olivia Isaac-Smith and Evelina Isaac Isom; his niece Verna Isaac, nephew Cleveland Isaac; three brothers in laws Leon (Brenda) Franklin, Oscar Franklin, and Dolan Franklin.

Members of the St. James Parish Fire Department, St. Luke Baptist Church, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Highway Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 for 11:00 a.m. at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052. Pastor Samuel Jones, officiating. Private burial to follow. Arrangements of his final care entrusted with Treasures of Life Funeral Services.
