Irving Alvin Pierre Jr. Obituary (1950 - 2016)

Irving A. 'Dip' Pierre, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. Loving husband of 35 years to Loubertha Ann Pierre; devoted father of Shannon Boudoin, Shira, Leland and Gordon Pierre; grandchildren-Juwan Boudoin, Amare' Campbell, Jaden Hunter and Asia Pierre, who endearingly called him 'Dadee'. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Griffin Pierre and sister, Nancy Pierre LeBeauf. He leaves to cherish his memories, father, Irving A. Pierre, Sr., siblings; Sherron (Eldridge) Triche, Ann Pierre, Ilean (Robert) Medley and Bridget Taylor. He began an industrious employment with Celotex for five years, Occidental Chemical for five years, St. Charles Parish Public Works for over 15 years, and recently retired from Graham Packaging Company after 10 years of service. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 10867 River Rd., Ama, LA. Pastor and officiating minister Kendall Pierre, Sr. Viewing begins at 9:00am followed by service at 11:00am. Interment Mary Flower Cemetery, Ama, LA.
