James Morrison, Jr. 61, of LaPlace, Louisiana passed away on December 12, 2022, after being\nstruck by a vehicle.\n\nMr. James Morrison, Jr. was born August 27, 1961, in Nyack, NY to Hildagarde Wilkins and\nJames Morrison, Sr. \n\nHe attended Teaneck High School and then served in the United States Army. James was\nextremely industrious, always hardworking, and lending a helping hand to neighbors, strangers,\nfriends, and family. He was known as a Master Landscaper and received several certifications\nin operating large machines.\n\nAn avid athlete as a youth, James enjoyed watching all sports and spending time with friends\nand family. He had a keen sense of humor and loved making people laugh. James had a heart\nof gold and never met a stranger. He was loved deeply by everyone he knew.\n\nAffectionately known to family and friends as Skeet, he leaves behind his mother, Hildagarde\nWilkins, his father James Clifford Morrison Sr. (Helen), his son James Louison, and his sisters\nTammie Brown (Clifford), Jill Morrison. Nieces Dara and Jada Brown and special friends\nFrankie Dukes and Harvey James and a host of other extended family and friends.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Hazel Moore, and James and Myrtle\nMorrison and stepfather, Joseph Wilkins.
