June M. Woodard

June Michele “TeTe” Woodard Jones, born February 10, 1966 departed this life on November 14, at the young age of 58. She was the beloved daughter of Edward and Augustine Woodard Jr.
Michele, as she was commonly called, was taught in the private sector of the education system. She was raised in a Christian home and was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church (Kathrine Drexel).
Michele married Jeffery Thomas Jones and to that union two sons were born, Quinton M. Jones and Giovanni M. Woodard.
TeTe, as she was affectionately called by the numerous children she gave care to as an at home childcare provider, was loved by all.
She was preceded in eternal life by two brothers, Edwin Boutte and Kendall Woodard; two aunts, Edna Boutte and Mildred Lewis; two uncles, Raymond Boutte and August DeMagnus.
June leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Jeffery; her two sons Quinton and Giovanni; three grandchildren Amorie and Gabriel Woodard (Rachel) and Gianni Woodard (Chelsea); one sister, Trudy W. Smith; four nieces, Aleica Fountain, Tori Woodard, Kiana and Casey Gilbert; three nephews, Edwin Courtney, Lamar P. Boutte and Toreaun Woodard; along with her bestie Michelle Kelly; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
A memorial service in her honor will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament/St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 8321 Burthe Street, New Orleans, LA 70118. Family visitation will begin for 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service for 9:45 a.m. Arrangements of her final care entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
