Kelvin L. Jasmin, born on May 3, 1952, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Eugene Jasmin Sr. and Amelia Armant Jasmin of Vacherie, LA. Kelvin was also a native of Vacherie, LA. He graduated from Magnolia High School in 1970. He furthered his education and received his bachelor's degree in Business at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA.\n\nHe was survived by his siblings: Marleena "Renea" Jasmin of Vacherie, LA and Eugene Jasmin Jr. (Allison) of Palmdale, CA; aunt Barbara Armant (Lloyd) of Geismar, LA, his nieces and nephew, Mijah Jasmin Brown (Tyson) of Laplace, LA, Olivia Jasmin and Marcus Jasmin of Palmdale, CA; two great nieces, Mylah Brown and Makiah Brown; a devoted cousin, Nelson Jasmin of Vacherie and devoted friend, Gene Simmons of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of other relatives and friends.\n\nA public viewing will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2020 from 10am-12pm.
