Lawrence E. Workman

Lawrence Emmett Workman, Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 28, 1951, to Mrs. Juanita D. Mason and Lawrence Workman, Sr. Lawrence was the eldest of five children.

Lawrence was the beloved father of Lawrence (Joi) Workman III and Adrionna Allen, and the proud grandfather of Lynei Workman and Adrian Allen.

He was the brother of Lenore N. Mason and the brother-in-law of Wayne Ray. He was a cherished uncle to Sherman (Devon) Paul Jr., Jesse Beard III, Zerandria (Kenneth) Brownlee, Sequila Paul, Dalvin Workman, and Justin (Janay) Ray, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Lawrence also shared many years of friendship and cherished memories with his longtime best friends, James Chapman and James Carter.

Lawrence was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita D. Mason, Ned Mason, and Lawrence Workman, Sr.; his sisters, Sharon Ray and Sheila Workman and his brother, Jerome P. Workman.
