LeVar accepted Christ on April 24, 2005 and was baptized at Highway Baptist Church by Pastor Brown.\n\nHe was educated in the St. James Parish School System. He graduated from St. James high in 2000. After graduation he attend Southern University of Baton Rouge for 3 years. He later graduated from Diesel Driving Academy in Baton Rouge.\nOn January 25, 2013 he was united in holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Bianka Pavageau Russell. From this union a son was born, LoGan Vladimir Isom. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was a man of many opinions and jokes.\n\nHe was employed by St. John the Baptist Parish school as a bus driver and he was cherished by many of his students. He was also a cross country truck driver for a few years.\nHe leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Bianka, son LoGan Vladimir, mother Betty Blain Celestine, sister Felicia (Ronnie) Feist, brother Ronald Celestine Jr. (Vankettia), brothers-in-law Jerome (Conchetta) Russell, Al (Carla) Russell, sister-in-law Mary Russell. Uncles, Albert (Yvonne) Smith, Raymond (Cleo) Batiste, Sterling (Diane) Smith, Jack & Jerome Batiste and Donald Ray Thomas. Nieces and nephews: Kreshanna, Joyell, Damarkus, LaRon, Ronnie, II, Cecil, Shamar, Justice, J'Nya, A'Maya, Iyanna, Chasidy, Casie, Aronde' and Ace, cousin Erica Sparks, God daughter De'ja Treaudo. A host of other relatives and friends.\nHe was preceded in death by his father Louis Isom, grandmothers Mary Blain and Olivia Carter Isom, father in law Angelo Pavageau, mother-in-law Bernice Russell, brothers in law Howard, Jr, and Clayton Russell, uncles Ulysses and Benjamin Treaudo, Edward Batiste, Alfred Smith, Calvin Batiste, Wilkenson Isom, aunts- Louise Lumar and Marilyn Blain Thomas.\n\nLeVar is gone but will never be forgotten. We loved him but God loved him best.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from Highway Baptist Church, 1185 Magnolia Heights St, Vacherie, LA 70090, Rev. Wesley Brown, Pastor-Officiant. Interment, church cemetery, Church St., Vacherie, LA. There will be a gathering of family and friends 0n Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5PM to 7PM at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70090.
