Lilly Ann Teague Obituary (1941 - 2023)

Lilly Ann Cooper Teague a native of Gramercy and resident of Reserve, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at age 82 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 14, 1941, to the union of the late Alexander and Beatrice Cooper. Ann was a loving homemaker devoting her life to caring for her family and a full-time servant for 35 years as one of Jehovah’s witnesses. Ann is survived by her loving and devoted husband, James Teague, Sr.; sons, Herbert Teague (Ola), James “Mickey” Teague, Jr., and Jeil Jaiyé Teague (Reshonda); daughters Susan Alexandria Teague Ferrygood (Karsten), and Chanda Rae Teague Robinson (Byron); grandchildren, Melanie Teague, Kiara Teague, Karsten Ferrygood Jr., Karvez Teague, Kayln Teague-Kim, Jeil Teague Jr., Jyl Teague, Jy’ron Teague, Jhase Teague and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings, Beverly Johnson (Carl), Jackie Mattos (Dion), Donna Williams (Clinton), Rickie Cooper (Darla) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ann’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 500 Colony Park Dr., LaPlace, LA at 11:00 AM.
