Lynn Landry

Lynn Benn Landry, a native of Convent, LA, departed this life on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was 61 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Landry, Jr., four children; Domonick Landry, Sr.(Venita), Tharyle Landry Sr., Shantrell and Chelsea Landry all of Convent, LA.; a step-son, Keynon Joshua also of Convent, LA.; 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Sister of Edith Jones, Donna Scott, Wanda Bush, Juanita Youngblood and Stephanie Benn of Convent, LA; A step-sister Betty Harvey of Prairieville, LA., Conrad Benn(Terry), Wayne Benn(Cynthia), of Convent, LA. and Alan Benn (Lota) of Frederick, OK. Lynn is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Mr. & Mrs. Charles Landry, Sr.; 2 brothers-in-law- Lester(Carolyn) and Elvis Landry, 3 sisters-in-law Iris Landry, Deena LeBlanc(Quentin) and Dolphine Benn. Her God-parents Charveliar Gaudin and Theresa Poche; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Corinne and Andrew Benn, two brothers Kenneth and Lyle Benn, a nephew Kenneth Elder and a great niece Kristi Gant. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of St. James United Methodist Church, are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 10:00am from the St. James United Methodist Church, 9160 Methodist St. Convent, LA., Pastor Gaynell Simon officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Convent, LA. Visitation at the church after 8:00 am. Treasures of Life-Center for Life Funeral Services entrusted with her final care.
