Margaret Samuel Lumar, of Edgard, La. entered eternal rest on Thursday August 17,2017 age 77yrs. Wife of the late Helmond Lumar Sr. Beloved mother of Helmond Jr. (Margo), Kerry (Renette) and Orlando (Marilyn) Lumar. Sister of Norman Jr. (Mildred), Ronald and Riley Samuel and Valentine Melancon, Eula Johnson, Lena Pollard, Julia Joseph. Survived by brothers in law and sisters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Norman Sr. And Estella Pierce Samuel, siblings Ethel Savoie, Corinne Lumar, Anita Morris, Eunice Smith and Henry Samuel and granddaughter Sherrie Polly. She retired from St. Charles Hospital, also served as an Auxillary member of St. John Westside Volunteer Fire Department. Employees of Dow Chemical, Greenup Industries, Cajun Co. and St. John Westside Volunteer Fire Department, Parishioners, family and friends of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church are invited to a mass of Christian burial on Saturday August 26,2017 at 11:00am from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2349 LA 18 Edgard, La.
