Marie L. Daniels

Marie Louise Dennis-Daniels was born on December 16, 1948, to the late Landry Daniels Sr. and Irena Mayho Dennis Davis. Marie was baptized at Little Zion Baptist Church, Avondale, La by the late Reverend Smith. Later in life with her late husband she joined Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church, Darrow, La where she served as a faithful choir member until her health declined. God call Marie Home on Friday, December 20, 2024. She went on to live in eternal peace with no more suffering. Marie's memories will live on with her loving sons Derrick (Eliza) Daniels, late Eric S. (Tonya) Daniels, and Leonard (Temekio) Daniels III and many grandkids, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Daniels Jr. and her son Eric S. Daniels.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church, 38584 LA-22, Darrow, LA. Dr. Sidney J. Tobias, Jr. Officiating. Visitation begins for 9 a.m. followed by service for 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Burton Street Cemetery, Burton Street, St. James, LA. Final care entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, LA 70052.
