Martha Lee Alexis Obituary (1940 - 2018)

Martha Lee Dorest Alexis departed peacefully on March 27, 2018 at the age of 78. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Merlin Alexis, children Evanthe Alexis and Merlin Alexis, grandchildren Jocelyn Hayes, Janine Hayes, Justine Hayes, great grandson Roman Wallace, her sisters Peggy Lewis and Shirley Jagers, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernice Edgar Dorest and Benjamin Dorest, and brother Romalis Dorris. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Martha' life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 for 11:00 am, at St. Philip Catholic Church 1175 Highway 18, Vacherie, LA 70090. Father Brad Doyle officiating. Rosary begins at 9:30 am. Interment St. Philip Catholic Church cemetery. Her final care entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services 315 E. Airline Highway.
