Michael Garrett Obituary (1956

Michael Herbert Garrett age 60, a native of Vacherie, La. and a resident of Bastrop, La. on Thursday March 23, 2017 went to be with the Lord. Son of the late Isaac Garrett Jr. and Mary Rose Vaughn Garrett. Brother of Juanita Garrett, Kris Garrett (Angela) and the late Isaac III. Devoted nephew of Bernadine Garrett. Also, survived by a host of loving aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by nephew Kevin Garrett, niece Christine Garrett, grandparents Columbus Vaughn, Doris Burks, Isaac Garrett Sr. and Winnie Garrett. Relatives and friends of the family pastor, officers, and members of First Baptist Church Vacherie, LA; Greater Magnolia Baptist Church Bastrop, LA.; St. James High School Class of '74, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and Berry Plastic Company are invited to attend the homegoing celebration on Friday, March 31,2017 at 11:00am from the First Baptist Church, 1244 Magnolia Heights Vacherie, La.
