QUENTIN JOHN ROUSSELL

Quentin John Roussell entered eternal rest December 12, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Quentin was born on December 22, 1962 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Alice Brignac and the late Joseph L. Roussell. He was a lifelong resident of Edgard and a graduate of West Saint John High School Class of 1981. Quentin is survived by his wife, Amanda Barre'; children Christopher and Candace; brothers Danny (Judy) of Marrero, LA, Michael (Jocelynn) of Edgard, LA, Robert (Valerie) of Garland, TX; sisters, Dora (Robert) of Edgard, Hilda (Ricky) of Zachary, LA, Vernadine (Anthony) of Edgard, LA; nephews, Ryan, Jason, Jarrod, Joshua, Roshea, Tyler, Jacob, Tremaine, Terrance, and Trey; nieces, Katasha, Kailyn, Jovan, Tashana, Rochelle, Mariska; a mother-in law, Evelyn Barre'(late Lawrence); two sisters-in-law Angela Barley (late Clarence), Arnella Barre' and a host of great nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other relatives and friends. Family, friends, parishioners of St John the Baptist Parish Church and employees of Entergy Nine Mile Corporation, Waterford 1, 2, Waterford 3, Federal Grain Inspection Service, West Feliciana High School, Motiva, St. John Parish Library, and St. John Fire Department are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday December 17, 2016 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2361 Hwy 18, Edgard, Louisiana at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM followed by Rosary at 9:30 AM. Entombment at the church mausoleum. A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Treasures of Life-Center for Life Funeral Services, who have been entrusted with his final care; 315 E.
