On December 3, 2022, Ralph F. Pierre, Sr was called from this life to the next at the age of 87. Ralph was born on December 4, 1934, in Lucy, Louisiana to Albert Pierre Sr. and Irma Champagne Pierre. After completing high school, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars as a mechanic. After retiring from the military, he returned to civilian life continuing his love of working as a Mechanic. He enjoyed music, technology, fishing, and being surrounded by his close family and friends. \n\nRalph is survived by two sons, Michel and Ralph Jr. (Raishauna) Pierre; two daughters, Yvette Pierre and Kim (Michael) Pierre-Zamora; two brothers, Earl (Iris) and Darrel (Lillie) Pierre; two sisters, Marilyn Pierre DeGrasse and Pauline Bell; sisters-in-law, June, Magdelena, and Mary Pierre; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and host of other relatives and friends. \n\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr. and Irma Pierre; brothers John, Arthur, Albert Jr, Warren, and Anthony (Terry) Pierre; and brothers-in-law, Alphonse DeGrasse and Donald Bell.\n\nA Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at St.Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072.
