Raymond Paul "Crus" Bush

Raymond Paul Bush was born on March 2, 1954, to his loving parents Sophie B. Joseph and Florian James Jr. He departed this world on December 14, 2021, at his residence.

Raymond joined the United States Air Force in 1972 and served his country well. He was also a beloved employee of Shell Chemical for more than 30 years. In his spare time, Raymond loved cooking, hunting, fishing, and having a good time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories one daughter, Malaysha DePierro (James); one granddaughter, Edith DePierro; two brothers, Floyd Bush and Gerald Smith; seven sisters, Claudia Moore, Letitia Johnson, Regina Lewis, Venessa Bush, Pecolia Bush, Nolia Gibson, and Lola Roussel; one sister-in-law, Gayle Zeno; and host of nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sophie B Joseph and Florian James Jr.; brother, Oscar Zeno; and sister Rita Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, at the St. Phillip Catholic Church, 1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA 70090. Visitation period 9am-11am. Rosary at 10am. Mass will begin at 11am. Private interment to follow. Final care and professional services entrusted to Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052.
