Rickey Gerard "Rick" Armant Obituary (1953 - 2021)

Rickey Gerard Armant departed this life on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, LA at the age of 68. He was a native and lifelong resident of Wallace, LA. He was the son of the late Elvira Bradley and Wilfred Armant, Sr.; brother of Gregory Armant, Melinda Armant, Darleen Armant, Veronica (Troy) Griffin, the late Wilfred Armant, Jr., Alton Armant and Ellenor Armant. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Priest and Parishioners of St. Philip Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Phillip Catholic Church, 1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA 70090. Visitation will be held from 9am-11am. Recitation of Rosary at 9:30. Service will begin at 11am. Father John Vu Celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Phillip Catholic Church Cemetery.
