Robert Geason III a native of St, James. Bobby was born May 1, 1951, to the late Robert Jr. and Thelma Geason. He peacefully departed his worldly life and transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.\n\nRobert accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on August 26, 2022. He was baptized by Rev. Samuel Jones on September 6, 2022. Robert attended Magnolia High School and graduated May of 1969, after graduating he held\nseveral jobs until he was offered and accepted a position at Occidental Chemical Company where he worked 26 years before retiring in 2006.\n\nRobert Loved spending time with his family, visiting his daughter and sons homes every weekend to make his famous pork chops that his family looked forward to him cooking, he'd bring fruit, popsicles, candy, play and\njoke around with his grandkids and loved to watch his great grandkids grow and do new things. He was in awe of his family and could not be prouder of them. A light would shine bright in him when surrounded by his family.\n\nRobert also had a love for cars, Challengers, Camaros and Mustangs is what he loved, fast cars was his thing and he would shine them up every day, know matter whose house, he had his rags to shine up after his drive.\n\nOn August 20, 1970, he married Judith Ann Williams and to this union 2 children were born, Kim and Terrence.\n\nRobert leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Judith Geason; daughter Kim G. Jackson and son Terrence (LaTasha) Geason; five grandchildren; Ellayna, Kaija, Terren, Aaron and Tren. Three great-grandchildren; Ella,\nKacey, Kaztyn and welcoming a baby girl ECC. Bobby was also loved by his grand fur baby Nala. 2 Godchildren: Alicia Boudreaux and Keith Landry, devoted friends Rodney Jones and Janet Brown and a host of sisters and\nbrothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. \n\nHe was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Robert Jr. and Thelma Geason; grandparents: Robert Sr. and\nVictoria Geason, and James and Flora Mumford; sisters: Floretta Boudreaux and Audrey Geason; father and mother-in-law: James and Edna Williams; aunt: Florence Geason Gauthreaux ( Ulysses Sr.); uncle: Rev. Ernest Geason Sr. (Annie); Godparents: Mr. and Mrs. Rev. Septeme Mitchell; brothers-in-law: Ronald and Melvin Williams; and cousin: Robert Gautreaux.\n\nReligious Services will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 8103 Mt. Calvary St. Saint James, LA 70068. Rev. Samuel Jones officiating. Interment at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Saint James, LA.
