ROEINA DOLORES FIFFIE (BURRELL) Obituary (1937 - 2016)

Mrs. Roeina Burrell Fiffie, age 78, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Chateau Saint James in Lutcher, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Edgard, LA. She is survived by her children, Leslie Coleman Jr., Mark Coleman Sr.(Michelle), Wayne Coleman(Britt), and Rachelle Fiffie. She is also survived by her 7 brothers and 6 sisters, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 10 step-children and a host of extended relatives. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life which included reading, cooking, bingo and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Guy Burrell and Corrine Pierre Burrell; husband, Alvin Fiffie Sr.; brother, Alton Burrell; daughter, Denise Coleman and step-son, Anthony Fiffie. She is missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2361 Highway 18, Edgard, LA 70049, on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 11:00 AM. Fr. Rob Morgia, Celebrant. Viewing will begin promptly at 9am, with Rosary beginning at 9:30 and Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery.
