He was the son of the late Noble and Olivia Johnson Morton. He accepted Christ and was baptized by Minister Colby Chopin on November 1, 2019.\nHe is survived by his devoted friend Debra Celestine; two sisters: Joyce Morton and Mary (late Freddie) Winfield, three brothers: Alvin (Catherine), Robert (Sherline) and Vernon (late Lisa); a devoted niece: Daphne Adams; one god-daughter: Arrieon Celestine, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.\nHe will also be missed by a few good friends: Greg Celestine, Karl Gros, Frank Lewis, Danny Kennedy, Alvin Travis and Stephen Roy Smith.\nRoger is preceded in death by his parents Nobel and Olivia Morton; grandparents: Robert and Sophie Morton and Felton and Lena Johnson; sister: Rosana Morton and brothers: Noble and Howard Morton.\nAll neighboring communities and churches are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 Airline Highway, Gramercy.
