Ronnie Griffin Sr

Ronnie "Big Money" Griffin Sr. a native of Lutcher, La died peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the age of 67. Born July 23, 1948. Son of the late George and Theresa Manuel. Beloved husband of Deidra Simoneaux Griffin. Father of Damon Griffin (Brisher); Tiffany Griffin (Archille) and the late Ronnie Griffin, Jr. Stepchildren Lenitra Joseph, Tyrea, Jordon and Shardae Simoneaux. Brother of Kim Carter (Walter) and Lionel Griffin. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a devoted aunt, Elsie Jackson. Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of First Baptist Church of Vacherie, Israelite Baptist Church and neighboring churches also employees of Mosaic 'Uncle Sam' plant, Delta Petroleum, and Zapp's Potato Chip Plant are invited to attend the celebration of life at First Baptist Church 1244 Magnolia Heights, Vacherie, La on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10am, Dr. Johnnie B. Magee officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina, La. Viewing begins at 8am. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 5-7pm at Treasures of Life Center for Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy., Gramercy, La.
