Sedious Octave Obituary (1934 - 2020)

Sedious Octave, at the graceful age of 85, peacefully entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at St. James Parish Hospital. Sedious was a native of Vacherie, LA but later resided at Chateau St. James nursing home. Sedious enjoyed cooking and taking care of her nieces and nephews. She leaves to cherish her memories, one grandson, Jerome Young, one sister-in-law, Claudette Octave and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Alfreda Young, her parents, Frank and Beatrice Octave, one grandmother Olivia Octave, one brother, Ronal Octave, four sisters, Stazzie, Weber, Ella Harrison, Mildred Zenon, and Idelma Roussell, four nephews, two nieces and a host of family and friends.
