For God's purpose and according to His perfect will, Sharon Kaye Aubert became the fourth offspring of ten children born to the union of Harold Sr. and Shirley Johnson Aubert on July 27, 1949. Sharon was the sister of Sherry Ann, Bernadine, Gary, Diane, Catherine, Carol, Harold Jr., Veronica and Randy.\n\nSharon was baptized in the Catholic faith at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy, LA, where she also made her first communion and confirmation. She was educated in the St. James Parish public school system, attending the segregated Cypress Grove Elementary and High School in Lutcher, LA.\n\nOn May 8, 2021, at Ochsner Westbank Hospital, Sharon departed this earthly life for her eternal home. She knew that "the time of death was near; she fought a good fight, she finished the race, and she remained faithful; Now, she awaits the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous judge, will give her on the day of His return." IITimothy 4:5-6\n\nLasting memories of her are forever embedded in the hearts of her loving siblings, Diane Aubert, Catherine Aubert, Carol Aubert Taylor and Randy Paul Aubert; two sisters-in-law, Angela August Aubert and Jacqueline Davis Aubert; three maternal aunts, Iona Johnson Sigue, Delores Johnson and Murnell Hatton; three sons, Terrell Paul Clayton, Taron D'ante Clayton and Tory Burnette and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Johnson Aubert; father, Harold Aubert, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Albert and Lucille Aubert; maternal grandparents, Isaac and Evella Johnson; brothers, Harold T. and Gary Aubert; sisters, Bernadine Aubert Lipps, Veronica Aubert and Sherry A. Burnette; brothers-in-law, Michael Lipps, Sr. and Raymond Taylor.\n\nA public walk-through visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Treasures of Life Funeral Services, 315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052 from 10am-11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12noon at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 616 E Main St., Gramercy, LA 70052. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Paulina, LA.
