A lifelong native of Edgard, LA, she was born on September 9, 1967, to the union of Dave and the late Josephine Favorite Jackson. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend J.J. Harper at Greater New St. Peter Baptist Church in Edgard, LA. Syndra worked for Ormond Nursing Home for over 20 years until ill-health. \n\nSyndra leaves to cherish her memories her three children, Anitra, Ramon (Azhia) and Devon (La'Deja) Jackson Sr.; seven grandchildren: Reese and Devon (DJ) Jackson, Jr., Rayan Leo, Zaine Cyprian, Patrick Brown, Jr., Aalayah and Brandon (Bobby) Jones, Jr.; her father, Dave Jackson; sisters: her twin Sandra and Lori Jackson; brothers: Brian and Bruce Jackson; sister-in-law, Deanna Jackson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.\n\nSyndra is preceded in death by her mother Josephine Favorite Jackson; grandparents Samuel and Virginia Favoroth, Sr. and great nephew Tre'Shon Juwan Jenkins.\n\nFamily, friends, and staff of Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, St. John the Baptist Sheriff's Office and Winn-Dixie are invited to attend the funeral service of Syndra on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at SJ Keller Diamond Center, 22131 Highway 20, Vacherie, LA 70090. Visitation period will be held from 9am-10am. Service will begin at 10 am. Interment to follow at Woodville Memorial Cemetery, 133 Woodville Road, Wallace, LA. 70090.
