On Saturday, November 19, 2018, God called one of his angels, Tellay'Jah NyJae Bethancourt into eternal rest at the age of 13. She was born on December 3, 2004 to the parents of Telly and NyKosha Bethancourt. She was the sister of Ny'Zaiah and Aubrey Bethancourt, Savion and Saniyah Jones and Tiyonna and Talayah Thomas. Tellay'Jah was the granddaughter of Doris and Stanley Taylor, Hazel and the late Jerome Franklin and the late Audrey and Norman Bethancourt Sr. She was the niece of NyKisha, Jermeka and Jayvon Franklin; Shirley, Joseph and the late Donald Davis and Yolanda (Bobby) Arceneaux Isaac; Cynteia (Johnny), Avis Pickens, Norman Bethancourt Jr. and the late Guindella Joseph. Her extended family, Bobby and Yolanda Davis. She was christened by her Godparents, Breanna Davis Stemley, Stephon and Sonji Thomas, Erin Gant, Johnel Felton, Jason Jessie and Shawn Bethancourt. Tellay'Jah accepted Christ at the age of 8 and was baptized on February 13, 2013 at the Greater King Triumph Baptist Church by Pastor Charlie Jones Sr. She was a faithful member of the G.K.T.B.C. Sunbeam Choir. Tellay'Jah was homeschooled by Mary Henry of Henry's Learning Academy prior to transferring to the Lutcher High School this school year; she was in the 8th grade. She enjoyed riding her four-wheeler and dirt bike, watching YouTube videos, taking trips, drawing and eating. Employees from Erlanger Baroness Health System, Dade County Volunteer Fire Department, Noranda Alumina, Bayou Steel Group, Lutcher High School faculty, staff, and student body, and the Greater King Triumph Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, November 30, 2018 for 11:00 A.M. at the First Community Antioch Baptist Church, 10860 Highway 3125, Lutcher, LA, Rev.
